ABOUT THE PROPOSAL
ENGAGED: October 4, 2014
I was the last to arrive in Hallettsville where I was meeting Scott and his family on their land for the weekend. Scott, his father and brother-in-law were nowhere to be found when I got there but was greeted by his mother, sister, and nieces. They said they were just walking down to the tank and asked if I'd like to go along. After a few moments Scott and the guys joined us. After saying hello to everyone I had my back turned to Scott and was helping his niece feed the catfish when he tapped me on the shoulder. Upon turning around Scott was down on one knee and asked me to spend my life with him. I was completely shocked and of course said yes! We immediately called family and friends to tell them the good news!
ABOUT THE DRESS
DESIGNER: Coco Anais // AATD Consultant: Hunter Slusher
I purchased my Coco Anais style AN120 from All About the Dress at the beginning of 2015. I stumbled upon the dress while spontaneously trying on wedding gowns with a few friends and fell in love! The dress has the perfect amount of lace, sparkle and the train is stunning. I made an appointment for a day or two later so my close family would have the opportunity to approve. Hunter and the staff at All About the Dress were helpful, professional, and made our experience so enjoyable. By the end of the day we celebrated having found "the" dress! I felt like a queen!
ABOUT THE WEDDING
MARRIED: September 19, 2015 // LOCATION: Zion Lutheran Church // VENUE: Club Westerner
PHOTOGRAPHER: Lindsey Connally with Luke and Cat Photography
We had a traditional wedding ceremony surrounded by our friends and family on September 19th. Our reception was held at Club Westerner and was decorated beautifully in a rustic woodland theme with gold and burgundy. Everyone laughed, danced, ate BBQ, and had a wonderful time. We were overwhelmed with all of the love of our guests. It was a wonderful, memorable day and we wouldn't change a thing!
